Ester Base Oils
To meet growing demand for high lubricant performance and long product life, we offer a full line of ester base oils — including adipate, neopolyol, phthalate and trimellitate esters — suited to a wide range of applications including automotive, textile, industrial, aviation, turbine and compressor lubricants. They work well as a stand-alone base stock or blended with PAO and other base oils, and most grades are inherently biodegradable, making them a strong choice where a lubricant may contact the environment.

Ester Solvency
Measured by aniline point testing, low-viscosity polyol and adipate esters demonstrate increased solvency compared to standard PAO base stocks.
Enhanced Lubricity
Using HFRR friction testing, adding 20% polyol ester to PAO base stocks reduces the friction coefficient while increasing film formation, improving wear protection.
Thermal-Oxidative Stability Comparison
